How to promote your business event at the She Inspires Business CentreTo help promote your event at the She Inspires Business Centre we have brought together for you a list of event directories online to get you started. There is a varied range and some will suit your business event better than others but hopefully this proves to be a useful starting point for you to promote your business event.

Event management plan

It's crucial your event management plan includes listing and promoting your business event in a range of external sites so take the time to list your events. Each online event directory has different requirements but most require:

  1. event name
  2. event description - often 25 words or less
  3. link to event tickets
  4. free or paid for tickets and costs
  5. event coordinator and contact details
  6. event location, time and date
  7. event image

Social media maketing for events

Be sure to list your business event through your various social media websites. Be sure to links go to your online ticketing system so it's easy for attendees to book and:

  1. set up a Facebook Event - be sure to include your event image for the listing, this may require you to go back in a second time to add it as Facebook can be a bit tricky sometimes.
  2. schedule Twitter posts to promote the event .
  3. share the news through LinkedIn
